Oxland Opts for Goats Over Gold Shovels at Painted Tree

A desire to continually innovate the development process drew Oxland Group to goatscaping. The team introduced a herd of 100 goats to clear the thick underbrush on 11.5 acres of the 1,100 acre community. This approach offered an environmentally sensitive means of cleaning up the site while preserving all of its natural beauty, part of the 200 acre greenbelt running through the heart of Painted Tree. In lieu of a traditional groundbreaking, releasing the goats seemed much more fitting for this nature-centric community.
